Perth Six Circle Project

Perth Six Circle Project

A new website for a wider impact.

Through three programmes – Living Independently (LI), Community Enhancement (CE), Personal Wellbeing (PW) – Perth Six Circle Project aims at providing service users with the skills, knowledge and support they need to live more independently and regain their place in society.

The service users of this charity are hard-to-reach vulnerable, disadvantaged, challenged, isolated adults. After having experienced mental health problems, prison or addiction, they lost confidence in themselves and in external services.

Each training offered by the charity in their programmes is person-centred and covers a variety of topics, such as “Improving confidence & decisiveness”, “Budgeting” (i.e. planning & organising personal funds), activities such as gardening and painting of external structures, and team competitive outdoor activities. Service users are also supported to access appropriate external services to meet the wide range of needs that they present with.

Funding provided by the VINCI UK Foundation: £5,000.

With this grant, Perth Six Circle Project wants to design and develop a new website to have a wider impact and reach more people, as well as to purchase laptops for the service users to learn electronic communication skills and regain inclusion in society through the development of their own page.

VINCI Sponsor: Steve Mosley, IT and Business Training Partner, Omexom UK.

  • Steve’s skills and expertise in IT will allow him to create, set up and install the new website, and train staff to manage and update it.
  • He will also help the charity by designing, developing and delivering IT and business related workshop to service users.
